Gorleston Volunteer Lifeboat Shed
The former Volunteer Lifeboat Shed situated on Riverside Road, Gorleston has for many years been a sorry sight. As the slates slipped the interior was progessively exposed to the elements. However the pigeons liked it and soon took up residence.
Then out of the blue a sign appeared on "The Shed".
For Sale by Auction.
What Now! many of us thought. Well the "What Now" was and is Jim Groarke (Pictured below).

This is his story about the restoration of "The Shed"
which is told in the spoken word and pictures.
