Here and Now
History is is a constantly evolving subject. Before you know where you you are 30 years down the line and something that was of no particular note 'today' is suddenly of interest.
If you think of all the pictures you have seen from the last hundred years there is a good chance that few of the people portrayed were of historical significance. They would mostly be of ordinary people just like you or I.
We are now in the age of the digital camera and to all intents and purposes the pictures we take are free of cost. However it remains to be seen whether in thirty years time we will have countless pictures of our lives and times or whether the delete button condemns our "Here and Now" to the hereafter.
